Dimensions and sizes

Dimensions, breaking strength and weight for every model

All dimensions are given in millimetres. The mesh length applies at nominal diameter and the eye length applies to an unloaded eye. The diameter range is shown as minimum and maximum diameter in two columns. BS is the breaking strength in kilograms, and the weight is given in kilograms.

Not sure which model fits? How to choose a pulling grip covers diameter, pulling force and eye.

The grips must not be used for lifting. This applies to every model in the range.

How to read the tables

  • The mesh length is given at nominal diameter.
  • The eye length is given for an unloaded eye.
  • BS is the breaking strength, given in kilograms.
  • The weight is given in kilograms.

Reservations about breaking strength

BS is the average of measured breaking strengths for new, unused grips. The breaking strength varies with the material, shape and diameter of the object the grip is fitted to, and the variation can reach 25 percent. Pulling grips should never be loaded above 1/3 of BS and support grips never above 1/5 of BS. More about breaking strength and safety factor
